I am indeed very pleased and excited to be the new principal of Dillard High School. As a former Dillard High School student and a member of a family of proud Panthers, I am eager to become a part of the unique opportunities that will unfold as Dillard assumes its rightful place at the top. We are headed for the top in student achievement, the top in technology, the top in the performing arts, and the top in the many extra-curricular activities that help to develop good citizens. The staff and I will not rest until all of our students are prepared to face and defeat any challenge placed before them.

Many members of our staff have already begun to look at last year’s data to map out this year’s strategy for maximum student achievement. Students and teachers will use the team approach in order to capitalized on the numerous resources and talents that exist on our campus. Through the implementation of small learning communities, no student will be left behind. We predict great progress. If we embrace the present, we can and will impact the future! My vision … our vision is to become an “A” school. We have the facility, the staff, the students, the parents, and the community support to get the job done. Every student and every staff member must be prepared to hit the ground running this school year. We are on a mission, and we must not settle for anything less than the BEST!
