Scholarship and Financial Aid Information
DHS Class of 1961 Scholarship BRACE Scholarship InfoBright Futures Scholarships: Make the
Grade! In 1997, the Florida Legislature created the Florida Bright Futures
Scholarship Program. This Florida Lottery-funded scholarship rewards students
for their academic achievements during high school by providing funding for
them to pursue postsecondary educational and career goals in Florida. www.myfloridaeducation.com/brfuture Starting December 1st of your senior year, seniors can file a FFAA (the Florida Financial Aid Application) on line for the Bright Future Scholarships. Students must process the application NO LATER than their graduation date or they will forfeit all future eligibility. Students may use the award within three years of their high school graduation. Process the online application at: www.floridastudentfinancialaid.org
